"Investigation of a Novel Biocompatible Fast-Gelling Hydrogel for Neurodegenerative Diseases"
نویسندگان
چکیده
A novel biocompatible fast-gelling hydrogel has been explored for neurodegenerative diseases. The is formed using thiol-maleimide reaction. precursors maleimide modified 4-arm polyethylene glycol (PEG) and thiolated hyaluronic acid (HA) were created characterized by NMR.

P184: Combination of Herbal Medicine and Nanomedicine: a Novel Therapeutic Target for Neurodegenerative Diseases
Inflammation is a pathologic condition that includes a wide range of diseases namely neurodegenerative diseases. Several natural anti-inflammatory components have been identified in plant extracts used in traditional medicine for the relief of inflammation. Herbal medicine is showing difficulty in crossing the blood-brain barrier (BBB). So that the ability to pass the BBB is the main concern fo...
متن کاملNeuroX, a fast and efficient genotyping platform for investigation of neurodegenerative diseases.
Our objective was to design a genotyping platform that would allow rapid genetic characterization of samples in the context of genetic mutations and risk factors associated with common neurodegenerative diseases. The platform needed to be relatively affordable, rapid to deploy, and use a common and accessible technology. Central to this project, we wanted to make the content of the platform ope...

"clinical NEUroPROteomics of neurodegenerative diseases" (cNEUPRO) is a Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP) within the sixth framework program of the European Commission dedicated to the search for novel biomarker candidates for Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The ultimate goal of cNEUPRO is to identify one or more valid biomarker(s) in blood and CSF applicable ...
متن کاملMicrobubbles as biocompatible porogens for hydrogel scaffolds.
In this study, we explored the application of lipid-shelled, gas-filled microbubbles as a method for creating on-demand microporous hydrogels for cartilage tissue engineering. The technique allowed for homogenous distribution of cells and micropores within the scaffold, increasing the absorption coefficient of large solutes (70kDa dextran) over controls in a concentration-dependent manner. The ...
